Reading Update
So I have just finished the entire Merry Gentry series this far. I am hoping there are more books to come because I know Merry has found her happily ever after, but I would love to know what happens during the pregnancy and after she has the twins, i.e., who they look like, etc. YEAH! I have just looked over the author’s blog and she has stated loud and clear the Swallowing Darkness is NOT the last Merry book. I’m so glad. I knew she would not just leave us hanging that way! I am very excited about the next Anita book too. It is slated for release June 2009. Now that I have finished the Merry series I need to skip on over to my Shelfari page and see what I will be reading next!
I have decided to read a book titled Coraline by Neil Gaiman. I am a little wary of series books right now. I think I need to catch my breath in the book world as I have been up most nights reading after the baby has fallen asleep. It’s time to get some shut eye and I know if I start a new series I will be right back where I started.
Until next time…

Reading update
Just a short post tonight. Well, last I said I had started reading the Merry Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I must say that these are good reads indeed! I am really churning through this one. I am about to start on book 4 of the series, A Stroke of Midnight. I think if you enjoyed the Anita Blake series, as I did, you will most definitely enjoy this one as well.
Until next time…

A Kiss of Shadows
So, this is the newest series I have started while I anxiously await the next books in the Anita Blake, Fred the Mermaid, Twilight, and the Undead series. I’m hoping that the Merry Gentry series will be just as good as the Anita Blake series since they are both written by Laurell K. Hamilton. I have read the first five chapters so far and it’s shaping up pretty good. Everything I like in a book along with the fantasy elements! I am also on the 8th comic book of Guilty Pleasures. I have read all the books, but I love the comics. They give you a visual to go along with the stories, not that I didn’t create my own visuals!
