Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is election day and no matter who you are voting for or what party you are siding with….please, go and vote! We were granted these rights to vote so that we could use them and speak for the people. Please do not waste your chance to vote. As both a woman and an African-American, I am reminding you to go and vote. There have been many political struggles, both for women and African-Americans, so that we would be able to have our voices heard. Now is the time! So, if you are 18 or older….make it to the polls!
On another note, Barack Obama’s grandmother passed away today. It is a very sad time for him and his family in the midst of the closing of this campaign. I just want to express my sincere condolences to him and his family. They are in my prayers!
