Pony Model 1
So here it finally is! My very first model that I painted. I am very excited because I could never find the time to do the things that I enjoy, but now I am trying to make time! My birthday is around the corner (March 18th) and I am anxiously awaiting my new drawing desk! Mike ordered it for me a couple of weeks ago and he says it hasn’t come in yet, but I am convinced that he has it hidden somewhere in this house!!! I just have a couple of other places to check. I know I’ll find it!
Until next time,

Deviant Art
I’ve signed up for deviant art! It’s a site that allows you to post your designs, drawings, etc. for free. It also gives you the option to sell some of your work. Just another avenue for artists to make a little money. I’ve transferred all of my digital art to my deviant art site. When I create something new, this is where it will be posted. I’m really excited about deviant art because it also lets you network with other artists and of course allows you to receive comments on your work as well. If you have a minute, please check out my new site.
Until next time,
School daze….
So I am well into my third week of my Advanced Graphic Design class and the weariness is taking a toll. The cat definitely had to drag me into work this morning!! I have almost no time to do the fun things in life…drawing, painting, etc. It’s all work work work…everywhere I turn.
LOL! Anyway, I’m enduring – slowly but surely! I have MANY series episodes to catch up on and did not even have the time to watch Heroes last night! This is definitely a first for me. No matter what… I always managed to spare some time for Heroes. At least I have the pleasure of reading still hanging on. I’m able to read twice a day on my commute to and from work on the bus to the park and ride. I have started the Dark Series by Christine Feehan since I wrote last. I am now on book 5. She is such a great writer! I would suggest reading them if you are a vampire romanticist like myself!
Until next time…

I’m still alive!
Wow, it’s been over a month since I’ve posted last. Obviously I’ve been extremely busy with work, school and home life. I’ve also been trying to catch up on some overdue projects I had been meaning to get to, so I thought I would take advantage of that while all of my weekly shows were on hiatus. I’ve started painting…an extremely relaxing activity that decreases the stress in my life. Unfortunately, it’s very hard for me to squeeze the time in. ![]()
I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately though. I commute to work on the metro bus everyday so I get quite a bit of reading in until we arrive at the park & ride and I have to retreat to my car and leave my fantasy book world behind! I’ve read the whole Argeneau vampire series (10 books) by Lynsay Sands, the Vampire Kisses series (5 books) by Ellen Schreiber, and I’ve started the 2nd book of 8 from the Aurora Teagarden mystery series by Charlaine Harris. So, at least out of everything…I’ve still been able to keep up the reading. I remember a time when I didn’t even have time to read! LOL! Anyway, this post was just a hello from me really. To let you all know that I am still alive and I hope to be posting on a regular schedule.
Until next time…
Final poster design
In week 4 of my last class I had to design a personal poster.
Here is what I came up with…

I used a personal pixie of mine as the centerpoint of the poster. I’m not sure about the two-colored background just yet. I may chose one or the other as the only background.
Let me know what you think.

Final logo design
Well, I totally forgot to post the final logo design that I went with for class so here it is…

I’d like to hear your thoughts!
